Powercolor has released a new video card belonging to his line of PCS + graphics cards, the PCS + HD7850. The new PCS + HD7850 GPU is based on AMD Pitcairn 8nm to the AMD GPU that features 1024 Stream Processors. With a custom dual-slot heatsink and a black PCB redesigned with a more robust power supply circuit, the new PowerColor HD7850 PCS + comes standard with higher frequency: 1000 MHz for the GPU and 1225MHz (4.9GHz effective) for the 2GB of GDDR5 RAM memory connected to a memory interface of 256-bit.
The new card is cooled by a dual-slot heatsink PowerColor PCS + with a central 92mm fan heat-pipes "SS-Shape" with direct contact technology. According to Powercolor, the new PCS + HD7850, thanks to your custom sink, turns out to be 15% more efficient drink mixer and 15% quieter compared to reference design boards.
