TORONTO, Ontario, August 23, 2013 The Museum of Contemporary Canadian tea cup Art (MOCCA) tea cup is pleased to announce tea cup the introduction of FREE ADMISSION to its galleries thanks to a $25,000 donation from the RBC Foundation. As new partners in this capacity, MOCCA and the RBC Foundation have a shared commitment to providing access to unique cultural experiences and meaningful learning tea cup opportunities to all members of the community.
MOCCA will launch the RBC FREE ADMISSION program tea cup beginning with access to its thought-provoking Fall 2013 season. Starting September 5, visitors to MOCCA will enjoy free admission to six new TIFF-commissioned works by renowned Canadian and international artists in David Cronenberg: Transformation , as well as to the North-American debut of Camille Henrot s acclaimed video installation Gross Fatigue , as part of TIFF Future Projections. In addition, MOCCA is presenting visitors with the opportunity to engage in a series of public events and activities, including tea cup a David Cronenberg-inspired book club and exclusive talks by exhibiting artists.
An expanded access program anchored by free admission reflects MOCCA s ongoing efforts to increase our reach to diverse audiences, says MOCCA Managing Director Yves Théoret. “We are proud to partner with the RBC Foundation to provide free admission to our visitors and to all members of the community.”
A hub for cultural production and creative exchange, MOCCA established itself in Toronto’s dynamic West Queen West district almost 10 years ago. Since then, MOCCA has strived to welcome and encourage a diverse audience, and to position the museum as a beacon in the community. This latest initiative enables tea cup MOCCA to broaden its reach, into the community and beyond, to strengthen the impact of visual arts.

The Museum of Contemporary Canadian Art was born on the cusp of the millennium and has exploded onto the Toronto and Canadian art scene with ambitious tea cup local-to-global programming.
