C rossFit har lidt sit eget sprog og som I nok allerede har bemærket, cbtl en hel masse forkortelse cbtl og engelske termer. Jeg googler stadig ord og øvelser, men har de fleste på rygraden efterhånden. Det er en stor hjælp, når man ikke længere skal koncentrere sig om, hvad de forskellige ting betyder og være i tvivl om, hvad det egentlig betyder, når ens coach har skrevet 5 x HPC 80% på tavlen. Så kan du i stedet fokusere på det du rent faktisk skal lave.
Det kan godt være en smule indspist, og jeg tager af og til mig selv i at plapre løs til folk, som ikke aner en pind om CrossFit “Ja, så nede i boxen her sidst, lavede vi Angie – mega hård WOD og jeg kunne slet ikke RX’e blablabla”. Forståeligt nok, har man tabt dem allerede ved boxen…
Derfor kommer dette indlæg til at handle om CrossFit sproget og kan fungere som en slags ordbog cbtl :-) Jeg vil løbende lave små videoklip cbtl af samtlige øvelser, cbtl så I kan se hvordan de ser ud og følge med i min udvikling af dem.
