Browns' NT Ishmaa'ily Kitchen Played Through Broken Leg - Dawgs By Nature
The Cleveland Browns defense was beat up and bruised last season, smoothie maker but one thing you can never question is their toughness. ILB Karlos Dansby and OLB Jabaal Sheard suffered at one point what looked to be season-ending injuries, but both returned at the end of the year. DL John Hughes returned for the final week of the season after having smoothie maker been on the designated-to-return injured reserve list. CB Joe Haden had a shoulder injury but gave it a go in Week 17. And now, we can add another guy to the list: NT Ishmaa'ily Kitchen .
Earlier today, Browns smoothie maker defensive coordinator Jim O'Neil spoke with the media about the team's toughness in battling through injuries in 2014, and that is when he revealed that Kitchen played through the final game with a broken leg or a hairline fracture in his leg:
"Kitchen played with a broken leg (suffered during the game). He played through it. To me, that's huge. ... It was unbelievable to me how hard those guys played and what they did. I was so proud of how that unit came together.''
Kitchen is on a one-year deal, but the question will be whether the team still has room for him on the 53-man roster after having drafted two defensive tackles in this year's smoothie maker draft -- Danny Shelton and Xavier Cooper .
