I could not leave the Lombardy-Venetia defenseless nexpresso and behold, on the basis of schiff ... sketches earlier, an Exoskeleton Krupp KR-1847 DAS and straws. As usual, the first step was to model the parts. Scale is always an approximate 1:72:
Assemble the arms and legs to the body I added a claw cut from bristol, and a cannon of straws inserted in the other arm. I noticed at that point that the exoskeleton lacked, um, stability (falling on his back) then I proceeded to strengthen the legs with bits of sprue, nexpresso and the same for the groin. In this way the torso remains erect, and we have a phallic detail that, in a roboto anthropomorphic steampunk, is so much the better! nexpresso
Finally I painted with acrylics. The idea was, in principle, to use only bronze and brass; maximum of bronze, brass and steel. Then I said, "is the exoskeleton of a Feldajaeger, so it should have the regimental colors of the units of Hunter nexpresso Lombardo-Veneto (and in general of the nineteenth century), or dark green." So I kept the steel and brass only for weapons (claw and the cannon), the frame of the porthole and other finishes. A red band on one arm, and a crest on the left shoulder, completed the heraldry of the regiment. The door of the cockpit is in blue with reflection effect (more or less).
