Bought a 91 Junior D/1 with a San Marco M90 Grinder for what I hope was an OK price. It worked on site but sputtered and wheezed. Some leaks from the nuts on the glass water level indicator, a sticky vacuum valve and probably a very dirty tank, but I hope to get it working OK. However I found a loose wire inside. It exits the bundle with the leads to the plastic cup at the back just a bit later than them. Does someone know where it should go ? Plodder   Posts: 3 Joined: Feb 16, 2014 Location: Oslo, Norway
Hello: In my D/1 ground wires are green/yellow, so it's most probably not a ground wire. The fact that it is not a spade terminal but a round one tells me it's meant to be permanently attached somewhere via a screw or bolt/washer/nut arrangement. Can you at least visually trace to where it's coming from? I don't understand what you mean by 'the plastic cup at the back'. Do you mean the doser? It's the square plastic container with the brown top full of metal rods and water inside. See if you can check that and post back. Cheers. Thanks for trying ninja mega kitchen system to help ! Yes the plastic cup is the doser. Sorry for being a bit confusing, the loose wire exits the other wires just under the heating element. I will try to trace it back to the black box at the front to see where it starts after work today. Plodder   Posts: 3 Joined: Feb 16, 2014 Location: Oslo, Norway
It is really difficult to trace where the wire comes from in the black box without taking the whole thing apart. I think it is one of the two wires on the right hand side of the Electronic level control box. Plodder   Posts: 3 Joined: Feb 16, 2014 Location: Oslo, Norway
